The Church is composed of those who have been called out of sin into righteousness to come out from the world (2 Cor 6:17, 18) and into Christ for the purpose of transacting business for God. “But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (I Peter 2:9).
A divine church with a divine head needs also a divine foundation. Jesus said, “…upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18).

The church is to teach them no less than to observe all things that Jesus commanded. Thus, the church is to translate the Old and the New Testament into the languages of the people as needed. The Gospel should not to be reduced to its bare minimum.
Christ’s commission includes the children of believers as disciples and recipients of water baptism. They are included in the covenant and should both receive baptism and Christian instruction (Matthew 28:20).

Mt. Olive Baptist Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ. As a Missionary Church, we are consecrated to the Salvation of the Last Conversion of the undegenerated. We pledge our lives to Christ and Covenant with each other to demonstrate his spirit through worship, witnessing and, ministering to the needs of the people of the Church and the community.
